Some residents in Bethel Town in Westmorland are expressing disappointment after reports that they are being asked to present a government issued identification to collect hurricane relief.

The town was one of the communities in Eastern Westmorland that was severely impacted by the passing the Hurricane Melissa with dozens of families still without the basic necessities including food, water, and shelter.

Following the arrival of a helicopter that brought hurricane relief supplies most persons were left disappointed as they left empty handed - Among the reasons were allegations that persons must provide id's to collect as explained by Bethel Town resident Pastor Raldeen Mullings.

Residents continue to reel from the passing of the hurricane and continue to pick up the pieces in the Castle Mountain community.

One resident describes the hurricane after he initially did not take it serious.
