Reggae Boyz defender Damion Lowe is set to begin a new chapter in his career in the Middle East.

The 32-year-old has officially completed a permanent move from the Saudi Pro League team Al-Okhdood to the Iraq Premier League team Erbil SC.

Lowe joined Al-Okhdood on a one-year contract last August, after previously playing with

Al-Ittihad in the Saudi League between 2020 and 2022.

The former Inter Miami and Philadelphia Union player played 22 times for Al-Okhdood last season and helped them avoid relegation as they finished in 15th place, one spot above the drop zone.

Lowe also has experience playing in the USL and the Norwegian first division.

Lowe will be the second Jamaican to play in the Iraqi team, following on the heels of Colin Anderson, who left the team last season and is now playing first division in Oman.

Erbil SC finished in 12th place in the Iraqi First Division last season.
