Jonielle stun Clayton twins in Sweden

2019 World Championship relay gold medalist Jonielle Smith produced a stunning finish to defeat the Clayton sisters Tia and Tina the at Bauhaus Galan World Athletics tour indoor meet in Stockholm, Sweden today.
Smith produced a ratting finish in the outer lane to pip the Clayton twins in a track record 7.12 seconds with 2025 National Sportswoman of the year Tina and Tia both timed at 2.14 seconds.
Meantime World and Olympic 100 meters silver medalist Kishane Thompson took third place in the men's 60 meters.

Thompson clocked 6.56 seconds as the event was won by Romell Glave of Great Britain.
The 2024 European bronze medallist in the 100 metres posted a track record of 6.51 seconds to hold off compatriot Jeremiah Azu, the reigning world indoor champion at 60m.

2019 World championship silver medalist Danielle Thomas-Dodd was the other Jamaican winner in Stockholm. She won the women's shot put in a track record 19 meters. She finished ahead of Fanny Roos 18.46 meters and Germany's Julia Ritter 17.32 meters.
