Jamaican legend Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, who recently retired from the track after her final appearance at the 2025 World Athletics Championships, has signed a $13.5 million contract with Netflix for a seven-episode series, according to unconfirmed reports.

The series will chronicle the Wolmers Girls' alumni's inspiring journey in sprinting.
Apart from being a documentary, the series will also be a true tribute to Fraser-Pryce, an eternal sports icon and symbol of perseverance.
Fraser-Pryce ended her glittering career with 17 world championship medals, including 10 gold, six silver, and one bronze.

The Waterhouse native has also collected eight Olympic medals, including three gold, four silver, and one bronze.
She has achieved her best times of 10.60 seconds over 100 meters, 21.79 seconds over 200 meters, and 6.98 seconds in the 60 meters.

Among her other accolades are gold medals at the World Indoor Championships, the World Athletics Final, the Pan American Games, as well as the Carifta Games and the CAC Junior Games.
